Dimitar Berbatov can’t wait to take on AC Milan on Tuesday night.

Manchester United are in Italy to face the Rossoneri in the first leg of their second round UEFA Champions League clash, and it is expected to be a cracker.

One player who is certainly relishing the fixture is Bulgarian international Berbatov, 29, who admits he can’t wait to get to grips with the Serie A side.

"I've played against each big club in the world but never against Milan - I'm very excited,” he said. "It will be a great game. Some people say Milan are not in the best shape but I think that's deceiving.

“There's no favourite, it's 50-50. It's about who is the smartest, who can use the mistake of the other team and just score the winning goal - that's pretty much the difference."
