Manchester United have no plans to sell Vidic
Nemanja Vidic still has a future at Manchester United Football Club.
The Serbian international has been a rock at Old Trafford since moving from Spartak Moscow in the winter of 2006, forging a superb partnership with Rio Ferdinand in the heart of the back four.
Rumours have been rife all season that Vidic will join Barcelona, Real Madrid or AC Milan in the summer, but Sir Alex Ferguson insists he wants to keep the 28-year-old.
“Of course we want him to stay," he said. "He is one of the best centre-backs in the world. Our players are the subject of speculation from time to time. You just have to deal with it."
