Arsenal link of no interest to Cole
03:30 PM 16 February, 2010
Carlton Cole insists he never had any thoughts of leaving West Ham United in the winter.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for the England international striker, but the 26-year-old insists he has never been tempted to call time on his Upton Park career.

"I wasn't in the least bit interested in entertaining offers, my only focus was and still is to do the best I can for West Ham for the rest of the season in the situation we are in," Cole told skysports.com.

"There has been speculation about my future, however, I am not one to shirk my responsibility. I am looking forward to enjoying a good end to the season to repay the Upton Park faithful."

I would love to see him a Arsenal top. I think he would fit into our system like a Duck to water. I know we have MC on his way next season i'll love Mr Wengar to sign as well. Season after season we have fallen short due to injurys. RVP last season & this season. We need cover.
