Roberto Mancini could face a fight in his bid to lure Mario Balotelli to Manchester City Football Club.

The Italian coach is keen to raid former club Internazionale for the 19-year-old striker, who he brought to the San Siro and handed him a first team debut.

Under Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho Balotelli has failed to find his best form, and it is widely expected that he will quit the Serie A champions in the summer.

Whilst Mancini admits he would love to take the player to England in time for next season, reports in Italy claim AC Milan could yet enter the race for his signature.

Balotelli is known to be a Rossoneri fan and would therefore be interested in such a move, but City will be hoping a bumper salary offer would lure him to Eastlands.
