George Boateng is happy to wait to discuss his future at Hull City Football Club.

The 34-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, but he insists he is fully focused on keeping the Tigers in the Premier League rather than a new deal.

"If I'm honest, the contract is nowhere near an issue for me," Boateng told the Hull Daily Mail. "The main thing on my mind is to keep my place in the team and help this team to stay up.

“Those are my only priorities. If then the club wants to keep me here, and the fans want to see me here, we can sit around a table and talk about it.”
