Stipe Pletikosa is hopeful of moving to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club this summer.

Harry Redknapp has been linked with the Croatian international goalkeeper on a number of occasions, and the Spartak Moscow man almost joined in January.

Pletikosa reportedly failed a medical at the London club, but he hopes to revive a move in the summer, and he could challenge Heurelho Gomes for the number one shirt next season.

“We were talking but we were not able to complete the transfer,” he said. “But we made a deal and will look again at it in the summer.

“I really hope luck will be on my side this time. I was shown great respect by Tottenham Hotspur and I am grateful to coach Harry Redknapp.”
