Nadir Belhadj has been linked with a shock move to Barcelona.

The Portsmouth fullback impressed current Camp Nou star Xavi whilst performing for Algeria at the recent African Cup of Nations competition.

The Spanish midfielder offered the opinion that Belhadj could fit into Pep Guardiola’s style of play for the Catalan giants, and this has sparked speculation of a bid.

It seems inevitable that the defender will not be at Fratton Park next season, and it appears as though he could have a choice of clubs in the summer.
