Roma have no interest in offering Adriano a route back to Italy.

The Brazilian international was, for some time, considered one of the best forwards in world football, during his spell at Internazionale.

However, things turned sour for the 28-year-old at the San Siro in a big way, and after a loan spell with Sao Paolo in 2008, he joined Flamengo last year.

Adriano has found something resembling his best form at his current club, and reports in Italy claim he is seeking a move to Roma next season to link up with Francesco Totti.

But the Giallorossi have declined the opportunity to take him back to Serie A, with director of sport Daniele Prade dismissing the speculation out of hand.
