Maik Taylor hopes to extend his stay at Birmingham City Football Club.
The 38-year-old has been a regular for the Blues over the past few seasons, but he has fallen behind Joe Hart in the pecking order this season.
And although the Manchester City goalkeeper is set to remain at St Andrews for another loan season, Taylor insists he is happy to stay in Alex McLeish’s squad.
"At the moment Joe has got the jersey and is doing fantastically well which is making it extremely difficult for me to get into the team,” he said.
"But it would be great if I can continue at Birmingham. I will have to sit down with the club at some stage and still feel I have got a lot to offer on the playing front.
"Other than not being in the team, I am absolutely happy with everything. My family are settled so it would be great to continue at Birmingham City."
