Arsenal Football Club’s Abou Diaby has suffered knee ligament damage.
The impressive midfielder sustained the injury against Porto in the 2-1 UEFA Champions League defeat in midweek, and has naturally not gone down well with coach Arsene Wenger.
“We lost Abou Diaby last night [at Porto]. It is not understandable. I don't know how it worked. But he has a medial knee ligament injury,” he told Arsenal TV Online.
It is not yet known how long Diaby will be sidelined for, but the Gunners are bracing themselves for being without the 23-year-old for some time.
