Brian Laws has told Fernando Guerrero he is free to leave Burnley Football Club.

The 20-year-old Ecuadorian winger was signed by former boss Owen Coyle from Independiente del Valle on loan for the season, but he has failed to impress Laws.

"He is a player that has come in with high expectations but we have come to a decision that he is not going to get into our side,” he said. "He is a player that needs to move on.

"He is probably disappointed and I think everyone is disappointed that he has not made an impact. But we have got to move on and concentrate on those who are going to affect the team."
