Only Cesc Fabregas will decide where his future lies, claims Robert Pires.

It is no secret that Barcelona want to take their former youth team player back from Arsenal, although the Gunners are naturally determined to keep hold of their skipper.

One of Arsene Wenger’s former charges, Pires, has offered the opinion that the decision will ultimately come from Fabregas, 22.

"The key will be if Cesc is not content at Arsenal then he will look for a solution to that,” he told Ona FM. "At Arsenal he is the captain and Wenger has complete faith in him.

“That is important because he knows that he will play. But at Barcelona it is more difficult. He has to choose and it will be complicated."
