Cork admits Chelsea frustration
01:56 PM 21 February, 2010
Jack Cork admits he has been frustrated at being unable to crack Chelsea’s first team.

The England Under-21 international has been unable to force his way into the first team plans at Stamford Bridge, and has had a number of loan spells.

Cork, the son of former Wimbledon legend Alan, is currently in Brian Laws’ squad at Burnley, where he is hoping to prove he can cut it in the Premier League.

"It's been frustrating at Chelsea because I have had to keep going out on loan, and this is the first time I have gone to a Premier League club," he told The People.

"I've been to Coventry City, Southampton, Watford, Scunthorpe United and Bournemouth before Burnley. I've been living in hotels and apartments. It's been frustrating but I have enjoyed it.

"I've played in the Championship and if I do well at Burnley it is a good step for me, to try to break through at this level. The loan market is so helpful for young players at Chelsea.

“Going on loan is the way it is going to have to be done."
