Dirk Kuyt admits Liverpool Football Club must avoid defeat at Eastlands on Sunday.

The Reds are fighting for a fourth placed Premier League finish this season, a position which is currently held by this weekend’s opponents Manchester City.

A win for the Blues would put them four points ahead of the Anfield club, and Kuyt admits this could be a big problem for him and his team-mates.

"It's just a really big game and if we can win this game we will be back in it and if we lose it we have a big problem," said the Dutch international. “We have to try and win this game.”
