Emmanuel Eboue is playing himself to a new deal at Arsenal Football Club.

The Ivory Coast international was once a subject of the boo-boys at the Emirates Stadium, but his performances of late have earned praise from Arsene Wenger.

Barcelona and Fiorentina have been heavily linked with a move for Eboue in the summer, but it appears as though the versatile 26-year-old is set to earn a new deal with the Gunners.

“The people who booed him one year ago love him now and that is down to his attitude and that is the credit he deserves. He's a good football player,” said Wenger.
