Arsenal Football Club are ready to cash in on Gael Clichy.
The French fullback was once regarded as one of the best talents in Europe, and was a key reason why Arsene Wenger allowed Ashley Cole to move to Chelsea.
However, Clichy has failed to find his best form during the 2009/10 season, and the News of the World claim the Gunners are willing to cash in on him in the summer.
Real Madrid last season reportedly made an offer of £16million for the 24-year-old, but a more likely destination could be Serie A and AC Milan, who are looking for someone to fill Paolo Maldini’s boots.
As for his replacement at the Emirates Stadium, Wenger will be hoping young Kieran Gibbs, 20, can live up to the early promise he has shown for the club.
