Patrice Evra insists Manchester United Football Club can still win the title.

A shock 3-1 loss at Everton on Saturday means the Reds end the weekend four points adrift of Chelsea, who are now firm favourite to take the Premier League crown.

However, Evra has refused to accept United’s loss on Merseyside is anything more than an irritation, and he still thinks he and his pals can win a fourth successive title.

“The defeat has not damaged our bid for the title because a lot of big teams go to Everton and don't win," said the France international. "The feeling was if we could win there, we could win the title. We didn't do it, so it is more difficult than we think to win the league."
