Everton will push for Champions League place
David Moyes admits Everton Football Club will push for a top-four finish this season.
The Toffees are in excellent form in the Premier League at the moment, demonstrated by the way in which they beat Manchester United 3-1 at Goodison Park on Saturday.
This result lifts them to eighth place in the table, eight points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who occupy the final UEFA Champions League qualifying place.
Whilst many will feel the Goodison Park club have left it too late to launch a bid for a fourth place finish, Moyes insists he and his team will push all the way.
"Obviously I'm going to try to do it (fourth place) but getting to the top half of the league was going to be a big achievement after the way we started,” he said.
"It wasn't long ago that we were third or fourth bottom and I was looking down and a bit worried but now we've got everybody fit we will look up and try to get as far up as we can.”
