Manchester City out to further rile Ferguson
01:30 PM 23 February, 2010
Manchester City Football Club hope to beat rivals United to Ramon Azeez.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been monitoring the form of the 18-year-old Nigerian midfielder, and he sent scouts to check on him during the recent Fifa Under-17 World Cup.

However, reports in The Mirror claim United’s ‘noisy neighbours’ are set to enter the race for the player, who is currently part of the Future Pro Academy in his homeland.

Azeez has been dubbed as the ‘new John Obi Mikel’, who was also wanted by Ferguson until he moved from Lyn Oslo to Chelsea in a hugely controversial transfer.

The Old Trafford boss will not want to lose another of the games brightest talents, especially not to his nearest rivals who may just be getting a little too noisy for his comfort.
