Benayoun happy with point at Manchester City
Yossi Benayoun doesn’t think a point at Eastlands was a bad result for Liverpool Football Club.
In a drab affair on Sunday afternoon, the Reds were held to a goalless draw at Manchester City, a result which keeps both sides in the hunt for fourth place in the Premier League.
And whilst Benayoun was disappointed not to leave Manchester with all three points, he also accepts that City have a decent side and a point in their back yard is not a bad result.
“I think City have a lot of quality players," he told the club's official website. “We wanted to win but you have to remember that we were playing against a good team away from home.
"One point was not good enough but it wasn't bad either. We are still in the race for fourth place and that is the most important thing."
