Michael Dawson has advised Tottenham Hotspur Football Club fans to expect a tense ending to the season as they fight for a top-four finish.

Spurs are in pole position for the final UEFA Champions League berth following their win over Wigan Athletic, but Aston Villa, Liverpool and Manchester City are also well in the frame.

“It will go down to the last day,” said Dawson. “There is one point separating four teams, so we are all in with a shout and hopefully we will finish there at the end of the season.

“Reaching the Champions League would be fantastic. We lost out on the last day of the season four years ago and it was devastating. We want to play against the best teams in the world.”
