Chelsea Football Club are expected to win the race for Angel di Maria.

The Argentine forward is one of the most wanted players in European football, with Manchester City, Manchester United and AC Milan amongst his admirers.

However, widespread reports suggest Chelsea have already made their move to secure the player, and they hope to agree a deal before the end of the season.

Di Maria is currently plying his trade in Portugal with Benfica, who could demand a fee in the region of £25million to release him ahead of the 2010/11 campaign.
