Landon Donovan admits he would like to stay at Everton Football Club.

The American international is making a big impact at Goodison Park following his loan arrival last month, but he is due back at LA Galaxy in mid-March.

Whilst there seems to be little chance of Donovan postponing his return to Major League Soccer, ala David Beckham, he would love to return to Merseyside in the future.

“I'm enjoying it and enjoying every day that I'm here,” he told Everton TV. “Every day that goes by makes me think that I want to stay here, but we'll see what happens.

“I would definitely imagine that I will be back here at some point in my life. I think it's been an incredible experience and away from football, the people have been extremely nice.”
