Peter Kenyon is refusing to offer clues in regards to Chelsea Football Club’s reported interest in Angel di Maria, the Argentine international.

Reports earlier this week suggested former Stamford Bridge chief executive was in Lisbon on behalf of the Blues, trying to tie up a deal for the Benfica winger.

When asked about his involvement in the possible deal Kenyon was non-committal, although he did confirm he had been in the Portuguese capital.

"It is true I stayed in Lisbon in answer to your question, but I will not offer more details," he told O Jogo. "Is Di Maria a footballer of interest to us? I have no comment to make."
