Blackburn Rovers Football Club have been linked with Charlie Adam.

The midfielder is impressing at Blackpool in the Championship, and reports suggest Sam Allardyce is keen to take him to Ewood Park in the summer.

Whilst the former Rangers star insists he is currently happy with his current club, he has hinted that he would be open to a move to the Premier League if they don’t earn promotion.

"The Premiership is a fantastic league,” said Adam. “Hopefully that will be in the future but I'm not naive enough to take things for granted. But I'd like to think my form proves I could play that level."
