Hreidarsson focused on Portsmouth job
09:00 AM 26 February, 2010
Hermann Hreidarsson insists he is fully focused on footballing matters for Portsmouth.

Pompey owner Balram Chainrai has confirmed the club will go into administration if they can’t find a new buyer by Friday, and this is looking increasingly likely.

Whilst this is naturally worrying for all concerned at the club, Hreidarsson insists he and his team mates are focusing on the relegation fight with Burnley on Saturday.

"It has been on the cards all season, especially lately, but nobody likes to see a club going into administration,” he told The News. "It will not be a nice situation if it happens.

"All the players can do is focus on what is happening on the field and hope that someone can be found in the next couple of days. Morale has been good, despite the uncertainty.”
