Chelsea’s Cech faces month on the sidelines
09:00 PM 25 February, 2010
Chelsea Football Club’s Petr Cech is set to be sidelined for four weeks.

The Czech Republic international goalkeeper picked up an injury during the UEFA Champions League clash against Inter Milan on Wednesday, which the Blues eventually lost 2-1.

It was initially feared Cech would be out for the season with a knee injury, but scans have revealed the damage is to his calf and he will miss a month of the campaign.

A spokesman for Chelsea said: "Today's scans confirm that Petr Cech suffered a tear in a calf muscle in the Inter game. He is expected to be out for three to four weeks."

Petr is a massive player for CFC. I'm not sure if his injury will have an impacked on who will win the prem. With 10+ games to go. The race to the finish line is going to be very tight. For me this is how every seanon should be. Not one team running away with it. This has been one of the best season for a long time. Who going to win. No one realy knows...?
