FIVE set for Manchester United chop?
02:30 PM 28 February, 2010
Five members of Manchester United Football Club’s first team squad could be sold in the summer.

The Reds have debts of over £700million to contend with, and the Daily Star claims they will try and raise funds at the end of the season by offloading as many as five household names.

The biggest players who have been named as potential departures are Michael Owen, who joined on a free last summer, £17million 2007 signing Nani, and the crocked Owen Hargreaves.

The other two names being mentioned are England international goalkeeper Ben Foster, who is third choice at Old Trafford, and French winger Gabriel Obertan, who joined last year for £3million.

I think Manchester United should sign Agbonlahor! Why because he is brilliant today he was awesome and I think we can only improve with him.

This is the worst rubbish you have uttered as a writer. Nani - three weeks ago was a hero, today due to suspension is supposed to back on his way out? Obertan - Yes we always sell our youngsters after their first season Owen - Right, we should sell his as he is such a huge burden on our debt. Umm, his contract works only when he plays, he is not an expensive asset and he is still a proven goal scorer Foster - Yes all great goalkeepers came to light at 26. Honestly, all stats say a good keeper begins to mature around 29ish Hargreaves - This could be a possibility, however, I doubt if he will be sold. Most likely option for owen would be retirement. However, I think there will be very few if any departures.
