Jensen admits Burnley in trouble
10:15 AM 01 March, 2010
Brian Jensen accepts Burnley Football Club have a real fight on to stay in the Premier League.

A 2-1 home defeat to Portsmouth, which would have been worse had Jensen not saved a penalty, leaves the Clarets second from bottom in the top-flight table.

And the goalkeeper accepts that he and his pals face a huge fight in retaining the status they claimed last season, but he remains positive they can turn things around.

“We just have to crack on,” he said. "We know we're in trouble. We just have to turn it around, and away from home. It's a must, and it's what we have to now work on.

"As long as we stay together, stay strong, then we will do our very best to stay in this league. I'm sure we will bounce back, get even stronger, get some points away from home as well.

"The table is still tight, and yes we're still down there where we don't want to be, so we can only look up. We've still a good chance. We've six home games remaining, and a lot of points to play for."

Only time will tell but one thing we must do is take advantage when on top.So many games have slipped away,Aston Villa,Arsenal,Bolton,Portsmouth and even Chelsea. All admitedly at home,we have GOT to take our chances. Please all Clarets don't get on to the players backs, thats the LAST thing to do as it WILL bring relegation. UP THE CLARETS.
