Owen Hargreaves reveals Chelsea regret
09:45 AM 01 March, 2010
Owen Hargreaves admits he shouldn’t have played against Chelsea Football Club last season.

The Manchester United midfielder was still recovering from his knee injuries when he lined up against the Blues in September 2008, and he has not featured since.

Sir Alex Ferguson remains hopeful Hargreaves will return before the end of the season, but the player looks back on that date at Stamford Bridge with much regret.

"I probably shouldn't have played in that game. I struggled to drive my car for three days afterwards. Something was very wrong,” he told the Mail on Sunday. "The last year has been difficult.”
