Zinedine Zidane has urged Real Madrid to sign Franck Ribery in the summer.

The France international has a little over twelve months remaining on his contract at Bayern Munich, who are expected to cash in on his signature in the summer.

A number of clubs have been linked with the playmaker, including Barcelona, but Zidane has urged Bernabeu president Florentino Perez to snap up the 26-year-old.

AS claim the former Real star is aware that Los Blancos are monitoring Valencia’s David Silva and Sevilla’s Jesus Navas, but he believes Ribery, rated at £40million, would be a better option.
