Ricketts looks for Bolton Wanderers run
06:01 PM 01 March, 2010
Sam Ricketts hopes Bolton Wanderers Football Club can build on their on Saturday.

A Zat Knight goal gave the Whites a 1-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which was enough to see them climb out of the bottom three in the Premier League.

Next up for Owen Coyle’s side is three games against fellow strugglers, West Ham United and Sunderland away and Wigan Athletic at home, and Ricketts believes this will be vital.

“Wolves was the start of a massive run of games for us and so it was important we got off to that with a victory," the defender told the club's official website.

"We kept a clean sheet and obviously it was a nice finish from Zat for our goal. We should have had a few more as we created a number of good opportunities.

"Confidence is good and has always been good. The manager has made sure of that. We are working hard for each other. Now we have to focus on trying to get a run together and move up the table."
