Lucas Leiva believes he finally belongs at Liverpool Football Club.
The Brazilian international has had his critics from the Kop since his arrival in the summer of 2007, but earlier this year he made his 100th appearance for the club.
Lucas now feels he has made an impact in England and belongs at Anfield, and he has told Reds fans that he will get even better as he continues to progress.
“It's not easy to play 100 games for Liverpool,” the 23-year-old told the official club site. “I have more targets now and hopefully I can keep doing well for the team and play as many games as I can.
"I'm feeling really good and I think I'm getting better in each game. I need to keep working hard and try to improve and give something for our fans."
