Everton Football Club are in the running to sign Romelu Lukaku.

The 16-year-old is rated as one of the hottest properties in world football, and despite his youth, he has already played 23 league games in Anderlecht’s first team.

Even more remarkable is the fact that he has scored 13 times in these outings, whilst earlier this season, he became the third youngest player to appear in a UEFA competition.

It is little surprise, then, to discover some of European football’s big guns are chasing his signature, amongst them Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Inter Milan.

However, reports in The People claim David Moyes has made Lukaku a target for the summer window, and is keen to beat off all competition for his signature.
