Sunderland Football Club have already decided they want to sign Alan Hutton.

The Scotland international struggled to force his way into Harry Redknapp’s plans at Tottenham Hotspur, and joined the Black Cats on loan in the winter.

Although the former Rangers man is still waiting to celebrate a first win in his new colours, he has impressed during the four games he made played to date.

It is being suggested that Steve Bruce has already decided he wants Hutton on a permanent basis in the summer, and is lining up an offer in the region of £4million.
