Petr Cech hopes to return for Chelsea Football Club ahead of schedule.

The Czech Republic international tore a calf muscle during the recent UEFA Champions League clash at Inter Milan, which the visitors lost 2-1.

Cech was then ruled out for a month, and his replacement, Hilario, endured a nightmare of a match on Saturday when Manchester City won at Stamford Bridge 4-2.

The regular Blues number one has now handed the club a huge boost, as when asked if he would be out for three or four weeks, he told Sport.cz: "I hope I will be back sooner than that."
