Manchester United interested in Two David’s
Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on working with the Two David’s next season…and we don’t mean West Ham United Football Club owners Gold & Sullivan.
The Manchester United boss is expected to be given a healthy transfer kitty for the summer, as much of the £80million Cristiano Ronaldo fee from Real Madrid has been untouched.
And reports in the Daily Mail claim Ferguson remains keen on Spanish international pair David Silva and David Villa, who are both being tipped to leave Valencia.
Villa is rated as one of the deadliest strikers in world football and would cost around £35million, whilst winger Silva would offer many options and has a price tag of around £20million.
Should United splash the cash and land both ahead of the 2010/11 season, it would certainly help appease those fans who are frustrated at the lack of incoming transfers since the summer.
