If Tottenham Hotspur Football Club want to sign Craig Bellamy in the summer, then it will cost them a player who has hit sixteen goals in their colours this season.

Harry Redknapp is a huge fan of Bellamy, and he tried to take him to White Hart Lane last January, only for the player to leave West Ham United for Manchester City.

The Welsh international has enjoyed perhaps the best season of his career this term, and he continues to be named as a potential target for Spurs in the summer.

The People, though, claim the only way City would even consider letting the Londoners take Bellamy is if they include England’s Jermain Defoe as part of the transfer.

As far as transfer rumours go, this particular piece of speculation would seem as unlikely as they come, as both players are happy at their respective clubs where they are hugely valued.
