Dirk Kuyt is confident Liverpool Football Club will finish fourth in the Premier League this season.

The Reds may have started the campaign with designs on the title, but they fell away at a surprisingly early stage and are now in a battle to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur are in pole position but many feel Manchester City, who have a game in hand, will take fourth spot, whilst Aston Villa are also in the running.

Kuyt, though, believes with ten games remaining Rafael Benitez’s side are finding their best form, and he feels confident they will be in Europe’s premier competition next season.

"I think we are progressing in the last 10 games, a lot of clean sheets, a lot of good points and winning results,” he said. “I am sure we will finish in the top four at the end of the season."
