Weiss disappointed with Bolton Wanderers spell
09:00 PM 03 March, 2010
Vladimir Weiss admits he is already disappointed by his spell at Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

The 20-year-old Slovakian international was happy to leave Manchester City in January for a loan spell with the Whites, as he felt this would give him regular first team football.

But whilst he has played six Premier League games for Owen Coyle’s side, he is disappointed that all of these outings have come from the substitutes bench.

"I am playing more often than at City but it is never more than 30 minutes and for me it is important to be in the starting line-up because that was the reason why I wanted to leave,” Weiss told Sport.sk.

"I would like to appear in the starting XI at least six times but there is not much time left. On the other hand, I did not expect that I would have an easy way into the starting line-up.

“However, today I can say that I am disappointed. Maybe I expected a bit more from it. Well, what a shame that I'm not playing regularly again. I am trying to be patient but I can't understand it yet.

"The coach promised me regular football but so far it has not been the case and soon I should have a chat with him about it to see what the future holds."
