Jose Mourinho would love Steven Gerrard at Internazionale.

The Special One has made no secret of his admiration for the Liverpool midfielder, who captained England during their 3-1 win over Egypt on Wednesday.

During his time as coach of Chelsea Mourinho almost persuaded Gerrard to quit his beloved Anfield for Stamford Bridge, only for the player to have a late change of heart.

The Inter coach remains keen on the player, though, and reports in Italy claim he will try and lure him to the San Siro if the Reds fail to clinch a UEFA Champions League spot this season.
