Galatasaray skipper dreams of Liverpool transfer
08:15 PM 04 March, 2010
Arda Turan admits he would love to join Liverpool Football Club.

The Turkish international forward has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past, and he admits he would relish the chance of linking up with Rafael Benitez’s side.

Turan, who currently captains Galatasaray, accepts it is the decision of the board if he is allowed to leave the Istanbul club, but his admiration for the Reds shows no signs of abating.

"Of course I want to play abroad but it is our board's decision," the 23-year-old told uefa.com. "As I always mention, Liverpool attracts me because of their tradition.

"In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for them. This is my dream, but for now I'm just working on my football."
