Michael Owen has vowed to return to Manchester United Football Club in peak condition.
The 30-year-old striker pulled up with a hamstring injury during the Carling Cup final against Aston Villa last Sunday, and he has now been ruled out of the rest of the season.
Owen, who joined the Reds in a shock summer move, has made 31 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring nine goals, and he has loved his time in Manchester so far.
"I have loved every minute of my first campaign,” he said. “I have already enjoyed some memorable moments. I am determined to come back at the start of next season in peak condition."
