Manchester City have not made an approach for Jorge Martinez, according to his agent.

The Blues have been heavily linked with the Catania striker, but his agent has played down speculation the Premier League side have been in touch about the 25-year-old.

"I don't know anything about Manchester City, " Daniel Delgado told Itasportpress.it. "We have received many proposals but right now we are not talking about anything.

“Martinez is playing for survival with Catania. If there will be serious proposals in the summer we'll evaluate the most advantageous one for the boy and for Catania."
