Kalou insists Treble still on for Chelsea
Salomon Kalou insists The Treble is still Chelsea Football Club’s target.
The Blues are well in contention for the Premier League title as we enter the home straight, although Manchester United and Arsenal also fancy their chances.
Stoke City provide the opposition in the FA Cup quarter-finals whilst Carlo Ancelotti’s side have to come from behind against Internazionale in the UEFA Champions League.
However, Kalou, whose goal at the San Siro keeps the Londoners in the game against the Italians, is confident he and his pals can go on and emulate United’s Treble success of 1999.
"Everyone is motivated to play the three competitions,” he told the Daily Express. “If we can win all three, it is perfect. You always go for all of them and always do your best to try to achieve that.
“We have won the FA Cup, so we are looking forward to winning the Premier League and the Champions League. That would be the most amazing season since I have been at Chelsea.
“It would be perfect to win all three.”
