Kevin Davies again underlined his importance to Bolton Wanderers Football Club on Saturday.

The powerful forward scored the opening goal of the vital 2-1 win against West Ham United at Upton Park, and manager Owen Coyle was full of praise for his performance.

“I've said before I've got so much belief in Kevin Davies and he has as well and he's got so many attributes to his game," he told Sky Sports News.

"I think sometimes people paint a certain picture of him but he's more than that. He's a real leader and that's why he's our captain and he's an integral part of what I want to build at the football club.”
