Everton Football Club will find out this week if they can extend Landon Donovan’s stay.

The American international has made a huge impact at Goodison Park during a loan move from LA Galaxy, where he is due to return this week.

David Moyes has made it clear he would like to extend Donovan’s stay, and the midfielder has revealed all will become clearer with regards to his future in the coming days.

“There is a chance (of staying),” he told Sky Sports after scoring in the 5-1 win over Hull City on Sunday afternoon. “We will know more this week. If that was it then I'm happy.

“Maybe we can stay a little longer, we'll see. The fans, the people here are fantastic, the players are fantastic. I've enjoyed it here tremendously."
