George Boateng can't hide his admiration for Hull City Football Club's manager.
Phil Brown has taken the Tigers into the Premier League where they currently sit third, and Boateng is quick to praise a manager he rates amongst the best he has worked with.
"He comes across very nice but he doesn't take nonsense" Boateng told the Hull Daily Mail.
"He sees all of us as equal. He can shout at Geovanni, he can shout at me and he will shout at everybody if you don't do your job - I love it.
"At the end of the day, I didn't come here to be liked or just to enjoy the ride, I came here to win football matches. If someone is not doing their job properly, that will cause me not to perform well.
"I think we have a wonderful manager. I've obviously had a few managers and the good thing is that when something is wrong, we can talk to him about it.
"He asks what we think of a system, should we change or should we do this? That is good to me. Some managers do not want the feedback, they have got their own ideas and the players have to do it.
"This manager listens to whatever we have to say and then he makes his decision and we get on with things. At the moment things are going very well for all of us."
