Robbie Keane could yet extend his stay at Celtic Football Club.
The Republic of Ireland international joined the Bhoys in a loan move from Tottenham Hotspur in January, but he is set to return to London for next season.
However, after Keane scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Falkirk on Sunday, manager Tony Mowbray refused to rule out extending the striker’s stay at Parkhead.
“Getting him to extend his stay isn't something that has crossed my mind," he said. "But we'll wait and see. That's not to say no. I don't know what Robbie's thoughts are on his football career.
“He's a young guy still, he's contracted to Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. I don't know what he thinks about his future. In the short term, he's here until the end of the season.”
