West Ham United Football Club could be interested in Joe Lewis’ comments.

The Hammers have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old in the past, with rumours suggesting they will cash in on Robert Green during the summer.

Lewis insists he is happy at Peterborough United, but with the club destined for League One, he knows he may have to move to realise his England ambitions.

"I want to play for England, but I think you have to be playing regularly in the Premier League if you want to do that," he told the Daily Mirror.

“I honestly don't think Fabio Capello is going to pick a goalkeeper if they are not playing at the highest level. But I have still got two years on my contract here and, unless I am told otherwise, I am planning to stay and see it through."
